Thank youDNK. You have articulated what I have been trying to say for ages. I’m so glad someone has the skills and facts to actually get this truth down on the page. THANKYOU. When a late middle-aged woman who has a husband and 2 children and has never watched Porn says this everyone rolls their eyes. You saying it though. Well...much more powerful. P.s. nope, never have. Not interested! πŸ˜‚

Hi Dennis, great read. I was thinking that if porn is mostly made for and by men, and it is porn that causes gender, then it follows that male sexuality is to blame for most of the gender movement. There are many women, as you mention, lying about sex work and gender, but it might be mostly as a consequence of the visual desires of straight men, which they are trying to escape/control by declaring non-binary and so forth. I understand your work concerns men but as a woman the idea that porn causes gender seems a little incomplete (though hitting the nail on the head for AGP). Anyway I greatly appreciate how eloquently and insightfully you dissect this cultural movement, am relieved someone is stepping up to face things truthfully.

You've been making this point for a minute and I enjoyed reading you elaborate on it. You are of course correct, porn-saturated male minds become creative deserts and gender orthodoxy banishes all artistic spirit. So here is a mechanism which helps explain it.

Oxytocin is the chemical which bonds people together after orgasm. That lovely warm feeling you get while cuddled up with a partner after sex? That is your human brain emitting chemicals that feel like "love" because in biochemical terms, that's what love is. We literally do "make love."

HOWEVER! If you are at home alone, wanking to pornography, then who are you bonding with? The possible answers are (A) the self, or rather the pornified self in the case of AGP men. or else (B) the pornographic imagery.

Food for thought sir.

My ex transitioned over lockdown and despite being born in the late 70s chose a name popular in the 90s. By rights his new name should be Karen or Mary. I think it's telling that he's chosen a sexy name from his youth.

He was a heavy user of porn and a closeted cross dresser when I was his girlfriend 20 years ago. He was part of the reason I was a hand maiden for so long. I felt so sorry that men like him longed so much for something that could only ever be a fantasy. What a horrendous position for them. The kindest thing would just be to play along, right?

Now he's a psychiatrist 6 foot something father of two in a shitty wig demanding that his patients to go along with HIS sexual fantasy, HIS delusion. Where's the kindness there? All for some orgasms. What a joke.

I wonder why nobody in thrall of the trans narrative sees the cruelty of it - asking people to deny to themselves and the world what they can see with their own eyes: that transwomen are NOT women, that transmen are NOT men. Surely it must be psychologically damaging if you are forced to deny the evidence of your own eyes.

Some men might like to live in the kind of world porn depicts, but no woman would.

But of course you know that, Dennis. So I’m β€œjust sayin...”. I immediately shared this to FB and Twitter. Thank you for writing it!

It really needed to be said.

Excellent analysis.

But needs some editing.

...strips the term β€œwoman of meaning” should be β€˜strips the term β€œwoman” of meaning.

Could not agree more.

It's the perfect storm of casual neglect of small children (which makes for a shaky self) plus porn. Porn explains all the tween girls too-- because in porn you are either the one who slaps and spits or the one who is slapped/spit on.

Very happy to see you are back. I am still in jail but hoping! (@Haynes_wiley)

Such great insights. I had to take notes, there was so much there that articulated what I haven’t been able to! It’s a perfect partner to the equally brilliant talk by Hannah & Shay.

Thanks, chaps (love how you address each other as β€œladies” - with an irony that I suspect would be lost on the GI crew!)

typo error at this sentence:

A world where a 60 year old heterosexual cross dresser claims a seat in parliament while wearing female clothing AND female his age would be pilloried for.

I think you meant to type "any" so he's wearing female clothing ANY female his age would be pilloried for.
