The pornographic unreality of gender

The gateway to the paradox and chaos and evil of gender is a life spent alone looking at pornography.

Gender is a persistent unreality, an elective parallel experience of life sustained by and architecture of downright lies, “kind” half-truths, dodgy science, linguistic subterfuge and silencing those inconvenient voices who see it for what it is. If you want to see the con, look no further than the most easy gateway to gender, the now ubiquitous phenomenon of pornography.

What is porn? Well, porn, at its very base is simply unreality. It’s a world where impossibly good looking people enjoy long, satisfying, and often gymnastic sexual intercourse. It’s a world where the local plumber has a 6 pack and the sort of penis more usually seen on donkeys. Where filthy/horny/slutty/what have you women simply throw themselves at available blokes. In the male gay version it’s a frat house except no one (contrary to all available population statistics) is heterosexual and they seem to go all night noisily barking all sorts of things they think sound very masculine at one another.

It’s a world at right angles to our own.

A hyper realised, hyper sexual and hyper unreal domain. Like a dream, really. Sort of place that’s fun to visit but you probably wouldn’t want to live there. Think about some of your dreams. Imagine living in them.

Objecting to this is apparently bigoted

But what happens in this age where the internet can offer you an uninterrupted torrent of sequentially more and more grotesque porn like a drug addict needing that little bit extra as a fix to obtain that precious high? What happens if you stray into the digital wastelands of porn and get lost? Well, what happens is gender. Recall here gender produces no art, music, poetry, theatre, nothing of any artistic value. Nothing human or moving or soulful or profound. The drug takes hold. That’s why gender speaks of “euphoria” and “dysphoria”, these are the highs and come downs of gender and this is why it uses the language of drug addiction.

All gender makes is (i) poor on the nose cartoon like “art” often brute force conveying some utterly obnoxious message like “non binary people don’t owe you androgyny” (notice how often it adopts an aggressive form of the vocative case) and (ii) porn. The proliferating near identical anime avatars deluded into believing their conformity is some form of authenticity sure as apples are apples, sure as they have pronouns in bio, will inevitably be “pro sex work” or “porn positive” or the proprietor of that most despairing of cultural artefacts of our age, the “onlyfans account”. Gender makes of them a digital zoo animal, and the passing tourists can pay a buck or so to watch them masturbate, as one might an unregulated chimpanzee.

A life first forged in porn, which then bleeds into social performance on onlyfans is highly susceptible to the drug of gender. For gender, like porn, is unreality itself. It’s central tenets are logical paradoxes. One must believe that the surgical inversion of a penis literally transubstantiates a man into a woman. There is no metaphor here. Literal belief is required, even if the adherents mean it as a kind lie. One must believe male advantage in sport can evaporate on self declaration. One must believe some women have penises.

In this way gender adopts the pretence that like gay rights or women’s rights it is expanding unjustly restricted categories like the vote or marriage. This is a dishonest, gender is not about the adjustment of categories, it is the philosophical enemy of categories themselves, this is why it so often asks “what is a woman” as if the question was anything other than ludicrous. It’s objective is to acid strip the term “woman” of meaning. Much the same with “homosexual” now Stonewall and pals have abandoned the term in favour of the meaningless newspeak “homogendered”. The philosophy acid strips words because it like a digestive acid, a corrosive force that can only break down and degrade and reduce to component parts and to add insult to injury it will engage in paradox when pushed, such as saying that a women is a woman only where it is quite obvious that the subject in question is a biological male. It is the language of Alice in Wonderland. Wonderland was not of course a nice place. Nor was it particularly safe.

Not possible without pornography

The pathway to AGP status is most often pornographic in nature and one can see this easily in the fetishist aesthetics adopted. Assuming that status is therefore to elect virtual reality over reality. But this is not enough for the lie to obtain of course. Gender requires a panopticon of sorts, a 360 degree supporting architecture of observers each prepared to imprison the other with sweet painted lies. So it is the case then that we see “stunning”, “brave”, “cute” and so many other palpable untruths uttered by the handmaidens and Vichy Gays better to buttress the delusion. Gender breaths these lies like a man breaths the air, it simply cannot sustain itself outside of rank mendacity. Perhaps the handmaidens and Vichys think themselves kind or compassionate, but they are in reality prison guards at the gender panopticon keeping the porn afflicted muddled and trapped in their unreality. They simply reinforce a life half-lived where the truth is elective, where opinions are enforced and words closely policed. They usher in not liberation, but a tension familiar to anyone who has ever encountered true authoritarians.

I was struck by something the wonderful Rosie Kay said on the (brilliant) live episode of “The Mess we’re in”. She’d spoken to people and read work suggesting the mass consumption of pornography by males had the effect of rewriting our neutral hardware by transforming the experience of sexual intimacy from a tactile, real world affair to a visually focused passive experience by an observer. This is turn made me consider Camille Paglia’s analysis to the effect that by all measures men are more visual as compared with women in terms of processing information and predilection thereto. Could this be what’s happening perhaps? Has porn saturation now become an observable social phenomenon in those who were raised on and now live in their own pornographic virtual reality.

Non adherence to porn style stereotypes attracts the ire of gender zealots always

When we live in a world where a schoolteacher with enormous prosthetic breasts may flaunt that obvious fetish and his right so to do outweighs that of teenage boys to be comfortable. A world where a man playing the piano with his penis while flaunting his prosthetic breast is entertainment. A world where a 60 year old heterosexual cross dresser claims a seat in parliament while wearing female clothing any female his age would be pilloried for. Have we reached the pornographic zenith of forces we unleashed on the internet some time ago with no thought to what that might do.

Worth considering I think. Of all the lies of gender the worst it tells is that it is authentic and kind and that it does not come from porn. The aesthetics say otherwise. The contempt and violent threats towards women say otherwise. The obsession with gender itself says otherwise.

The is why the concoction of the “trans child” is necessary of course – another lie gender requires to sustain itself. Rather than concede that AGP is the end point of the pornographic pilgrimage, this movement pretends at pastoral care for the sudden explosion in children who apparently have the wrong body. The coincidence that this happened just at the point a vast number of AGPs “came out” and decided not to have surgery while requiring it of such children is a ghoulish but striking one. If you smell a rat here I fear you’re correct. The invention of the mythical trans child is another buttress for the lie, another convenient unreality, another necessary sacrifice along with truth and dignity for the endless pursuit of a life devoted to and shaped by pornography.

Gender may have hungry flesh gods but it has another master too. Gender may hide chapter 1, it’s own book of genesis, but the creation story is there. In the prosthetic breast. In the onlyfans. In the “sex work is work” talk. The genesis of gender is porn.
