Re Mermaids. I suspect they are in financial do do. According to Glinner, for their last year financial year their income was about £1.8m of which £1.6m came from donations. We know that the National Lottery has suspended a large payment (£500K?)for this year. I suspect other doners are having second thoughts. E.g Tesco has contributed in the past. A few months ago on their corporate website's charity page was a big box about Mermaids and how proud that Tesco was to support them. This has now disappeared!
