Beautiful and poignant as always. You are absolutely correct in observing that we become stunted beings when our right to articulate that which is truth, that which is beauty, that which is pain, is taken away from us. And why can those on the other side of the debate not recognise that the Q+ are straight???? It's as plain as day.
And where does all this constant #be kind stuff come from?? We're talked to as though we're five year olds being socialised. Whereas we are adults who have a right to the entire gamut of the human condition, and the entire array of emotions.
Shallow people who have no idea what they are dabbling with cannot define you or control how you express yourself. We are strong. We know what we are. Keep speaking your truth, firmly and consistently. We will overcome this.
Beautiful! And yes, it is imperative that we keep saying, 'Trans men are not men" and by extension, "Trans women are not women". There is no such thing as a 'transbian'.
Your prose is so beautifully composed I’m not surprised you also write poetry. You might enjoy reading a collection of some of the best poetry I’ve ever read. The author, Paul Monette, grieving the loss of the love of his life from AIDS, poured his love and grief out onto the page. The collection is called Love Alone: 18 Eligies for Rog.
As I’ve commented before, compared to Gay culture or Lesbian culture, LGBTQ culture is thin gruel indeed, nothing but unreadable academic jargon and wince-inducing portrayal marring otherwise good film and television. Try to imagine an evening of LGBTQ theater. I imagine myself being roused from a nap by dutiful applause letting me know the ordeal is over.

Is there enough room to go back in the closet, when it's full of their skeletons?
Only if it backs onto Narnia
And we know how much TRAs hate White Witches!🦁❄📖
