Gay Men's Network respond to CPS consultation on sex by deception
A consultation revealing institutional capture, engaging in victim blaming and making misstatements of the law
As people will probably know, I’m one of the three directors of the Gay Men’s Network, a not-for-profit group which advocates on behalf of homosexual males dedicated to fighting homophobia in all its forms.
Our team have today responded to a Crown Prosecution Service Consultation regarding sex crimes by deception as to biological sex, in our response we identify and analyse what appears to be a clear example of institutional capture by gender identity ideologues and we point out how new proposed guidance tips the balance in favour of Defendants.
This is no accident, extreme gender identity ideologues and their charities have long pushed for special treatment for Defendants claiming novel gender identities and they fundamentally believe parties to sexual intimacy should have no right to know the true biological sex of their partner.
