First episode of me and Clive discussing all things law, medicine and gender
Following my catch up with Clive we’ve decided to attempt a regular podcast. The plan is that each episode I’ll look at an area of law and Clive an area of medicine in addition to a round up of the week’s events. This episode I look at the legal basis for reversing Roe v Wade and what that might mean for gay marriage, Clive does a deep dive into detransitioner Ritchie Heron’s experience of geneder medicine in the UK.
In addition we do a round up at the start of the many gender stories since we last spoke including Nottingham Council banning Julie Bindel from speaking at a library and the Department for Education leaving Stonewall.
Dennis are you aware that Ofcom have been displaying an updated version of the 'Progress' Pride Flag on the official Twitter account? Surely it must know how controversial that flag is - regressive, homophobic, misogynistic. How can they claim impartiality doing things like this?
